Tatarstan Academy of Sciences hosts international scientific-practical conference "Foreign Relations of the Russian Federation regions. Experience of the Republic of Tatarstan ". The conference is dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Tatarstan and is intended to assess the results of the development of the theory and practice of organizing external economic, scientific, technical and socio-cultural ties of the regions of Russia in the system of strategies for federal and regional policy.
The plenary session was opened by the speech of the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan M.Kh. Salakhov. The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov sent his greetings to the participants of the conference, which was read by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan F.Kh. Mukhametshin.
The participants of the conference were also greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the special representative of the President of Russia for the Middle East M.L. Bogdanov read the greeting of the federal minister.
The conference continued with panel sessions, moderators are the member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation O.V. Morozov, member of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation V.N. Likhachev, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan V.V. Khomenko.
